I thought TV dinners were so cool. I guess the "TV" was the part that hooked me. The thought that I might get to watch television and eat supper at the same time was beyond my 1960 comprehension. Of course Mom and Dad had other ideas. I longed for that golden meal, sealed in foil and sitting on an aluminum plate. The closest I came to TV dinners was an occasional Banquet Dinner Pot Pie. We ate those in the winter, usually on Saturday night. Alas, I had a deprived childhood. It's a wonder I didn't turn out to be a serial killer.

I am glad you are not a serial killer. I think you were raised just right.
