Every kid in my generation knew this man's name and love him. He was Bogie's rummy sidekick, and even rode alongside the likes of Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda and The Duke himself. He was one of the best character actors on both silver screen and television - a three time Oscar Winner. If you ever saw him, you'd know that he was The Real McCoy!
