A Whiter Shade Of Pale - Procol Harum

the mod fashion are pecular
the young men are no longer
everything that was once
and seeming at the time
forever ageless
now aged
yellowed and dated
but the sound
will never fade
never yellow
always fresh
always young

Still playing..Still recording...as good as ever. Although Procol is an acquired taste, those who enjoy are still eating from their plate.
Procol is extremely huge in Britain and Europe and the far east. They still tour and have just recently released new material.
Gary Brooker sounds as good today as when WHITER SHADE OF PALE was released in '67.
I really became a fan in 1969 when a friend of mine, Gary Burttram, introduced me to their music.
I guess my two favorite albums by them are;
1.) Home
2.) Broken Barricaedes.

Beyond the Pale...

How about "A Salty Dog"?
