The Steve Canyon Jet Pilot Helmet was sold separately and the helmet alone was a huge seller for Ideal. The helmet was so popular that Ideal followed with the Fighter Jet Console. By the time I got my hands on this toy, it didn't have any missiles to launch and the machine gun sound didn't work. I remember that the "microphone" in the oxygen mask was a kazoo element. Sounded like the real thing. The jet fighter console was about the coolest toy I ever owned.
