ENCORE ran the series a few years ago and I recorded a good number of them. They still hold up well, even by today's standards.

Several years ago it came out on DVD. It was a pretty penny but I don't think I'll ever care to own many television series. The show ran for five seasons, the last one being in color. The DVD set has some great commentary. Not seeing it since I was a kid, I was unsure if the show was as good as I remembered. You are right, COMBAT! stood the test of time.
