The movie THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN was incredible and I'll blog about it sometime. Right now though - just take in one of the finest music scores for an American western. Elmer Bernstein created a score that was just as memorable and as thrilling as the movie itself.

You gotta have a good score to back-up a good western.....one of my favorite scenes is from Good Bad Ugly....graveyard scene at the end....if you're not careful you'll get vertigo! Spinning and spinning.....super close ups..
Ennio ruled.
The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly was a great movie.
Fistful of Dynamite was enjoyable but not my favorite. Ennio's score had some good moments but what was with that SHAWN-SHAWN-SHAWN thing. And those romantic flashbacks with the creep boyfriend always looking over Coburn's shoulder when he was making out with his girlfriend? It made my skin crawl - and Leone made it worse by letting it roll in slow motion. SHAWN-SHAWN-SHAWN and the creep looks on. Talk about three's a crowd. SHAWN-SHAWN-SHAWN.
